The picture posted is my favorite from Easter 2009! Mainly because it has two of my favorite things in it: MollyAnn and peeps! MollyAnn decided that she was not a fan of peeps, but I have a feeling that the Easter bunny will ALWAYS leave some in her basket:)
MollyAnn woke up a little late on Easter, so we weren't able to make it to the 9am service at the church we attend. MollyAnn is high energy, but she takes her time with some things! It normally takes her at least an hour to eat breakfast completely and hunting for eggs was just about as long. Luckily, Uncle Gray was here and decided to try and push her along. She did not want to put her eggs in her basket if they were wet from the dew! So he followed behind and dried them off for her.
Later in the day, we dyed eggs and Jay and MollyAnn planted some seeds for flowers and herbs. We check on the seeds everyday to see if they are sprouting!
Jay smoked a ham and MollyAnn and I cooked some mashed potatoes/cauliflower and some green beans.
All in all, it was a good day! Maybe next year we will wait to look for the hidden eggs after lunch...
