Just Another Weekend

This past weekend "The Jay Adams Family" went west to visit some friends right outside of Memphis. The girls (Mandy, MollyAnn and Mrs. Kelli) road in the mini van, while the boys flew in Mr. Andy's plane. Ever since Mr. Andy caught the flying bug it has been hard to get him to do anything other than fly in his spare time. So we figured if he got to fly to Memphis he would get his fix and not be sitting there all day Saturday wishing he was in the sky...Near the end of the trip MollyAnn was getting fidgety and we got her excited she was going to get to see Mr. Andy's plane and maybe even sit in it. When we got to the airport she was excited but as soon as she saw the planes she froze up..Not really up for going any closer than the fence! So, no picture in the plane with earphones on like I had hoped!

Once we got to our friend's house we immediately got in their pool, which is where we all were until late Saturday night. MollyAnn, who is usually happy being the only child, was fascinated by "the Girls" that came over to swim. They played with her and were very excited they had a baby to watch over. Mr. Keith and Mrs. Kristi smoked up some ribs and fed us great meals the entire weekend...What a great time!

We had to get up early on Sunday so we could make it back for MollyAnn's friend, Anna's Birthday Party! Happy 2nd Birthday Anna!

After Anna's Birthday party we realized MollyAnn needed a nap..and then we realized we had no were to put her down for a nap. See our house was in Open House mode and we couldn't be there. So we pulled out the big girl blow up mattress and took it to Jay's office. We set it up in Mr. Charlie's office, got comfy and tried to get MollyAnn settled for a little Sunday afternoon nap. Shortly after everything was set up, Charlie showed up and was slightly surprised to find MollyAnn and I sprawled out in his office...but I think he was more surprised when we took a breathe and realized I had just changed a dirty diaper in his office with the door shut! Anyways..MollyAnn ended up with NO nap at all..too much going on to do such a thing!

So our weekend was busy and fun...we were all pooped once we got home! MollyAnn stayed in her pj's ALL day on Monday!
