Clubhouse Update

So...this Labor Day weekend didn't go as planned. As anyone who has children or have had children know...sometimes a virus can change everything. We were suppose to head to Alabama for a little fun on the water. But Daddy came down with a stomach virus on Friday night, and he was off and on weak and just plan yucky feeling through Sunday night. So we decided to try to do our part with keeping the sicknesses from spreading and stayed home the ENTIRE weekend! 3 days of the JAY ADAMS FAMILY at home by themselves! That NEVER happens. And we are all still alive and for the most part...better for it! When Jay would have his spurts of energy, we would head outside to get some things done. GOAL for the weekend-GET THE CLUBHOUSE PAINTED! So first MollyAnn and Daddy had to caulk the joints and such, and then I taped the trim off-then we all took a part of the painting! This of course did not all happen in a couple of hours, it was truly spread out over 3 days! Jay was up and down with the virus that hit him, so things went slower than usual. But as of yesterday, right about lunch-it was complete! We still need to stain the deck and swing set.....but our goal was the clubhouse and we are pretty proud of it! Thanks Daddy for working so hard on such a great clubhouse for MollyAnn and her friends!
